Review on 🔋 Powerex MH-C800S Grey Smart Charger: Efficient AA / AAA NiMH / NiCD Charging Solution by Wesley Sergio

Very happy with this charger. Bought 5 of these and we use them every day. We use them for wireless microphone setups, which are some of the most problematic devices on the planet for rechargeable batteries. I SPECIALLY chose this charger because it offers soft charging, a feature that should be mandatory for all battery chargers - it prevents heat damage to the battery. Batteries by slow charging (4 hours instead of 1-2 hours). Over time this translates to huge savings – batteries are better maintained, have fewer breakdowns and are more reliable. Many people don't know that fast charging NiMH and NiCd batteries does a lot of damage. Your AA and AAA batteries SHOULD NOT get hot while charging - if they get hot they will be damaged! Out of about 40 batteries we had the ones that still work great after 4 years! In 2 years of using this charger there have only been 2 failures of this charger. This is an exceptionally high quality product. Due to the fact that we ONLY use soft charging, we rarely need to condition the batteries - we only do this every 5-6 months despite daily/weekly use of all batteries.
