Review on Headphones Panasonic RP-HTF295, black by Stanislaw Koluch ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product can be used, I expected a little more.

Compared to the previous models: - greater bass that is resonant, projecting, and fuzzy (partially explained by the new, denser ear pads) - much less airiness and volume - a "telephone color" or drop in some vocal range frequencies at medium frequencies - The bass is nearly the same, but there isn't a clear center and lightness like there was with the old ones, making the new ones sound noticeably poorer than the SHP-2700 philips. Older Philips are not less effective. By the way, the Panasonic speaker is covered with thin foam rubber that ultimately turns into dust, while the Philips speaker is covered with a cloth. The Panasonic is slightly more convenient (it presses less), but the ears perspire more with the Philips. In the affordable full-size sector, the older model of Panasonic is a gem together with Philips in terms of sound (see the extensive headphone test on the Stalker29218 channel; ignore the voice-over; get accustomed to it). Thanks to all the participants and the format, it also appears to be a fantastic series. Whoever you see, remember to like (the review was useful).

Pros
  • new
Cons
  • sounded a LOT WORSE I'll go to take the old ones in for repair (so that the new jack is soldered) as they are identical and were bought 5 to 7 years ago. Listening to the new ones after hearing the old ones is impossible. Without an autopsy, the cause is still unknown, but there is no desire to disassemble it and I have no idea how to go about doing so. Although they appear to be the same from the outside, the speakers are either different, or the acoustic design of the case housing the speakers was purposefully compromised so that they would not outperform significantly more expensive models.
