Wow. The second time is a mom, but there are 7.5 years between my children, so I felt new again. As well as severe sleep deprivation AND this time breastfeeding, which changes the whole game. I COULD have 2 hours between meals which meant 1/2 hour for me because I breastfeed, put him to bed and fall asleep again. Also, and as far as I understand why the cradles are being emptied, they are extremely uncomfortable. I would never want to sleep on an open, hard surface, and apparently neither would my child. Two nights with this thing and we sleep over 5 hours. Aside from that, we have a Snuza Hero breath monitor on his diaper in case, god forbid, his face gets to his sides. Unless he turns his head completely to the side, although he is higher than the height of the side pockets anyway. Can't be too careful. Buy it. To attempt. It's a blessing at half the price, but not as expensive as a famous branded pillow.
