This is my second gaming headset from Jecoo and I have to say they definitely beat an already great pair of headphones for PC and console gamers . The problem with the last pair was the ugly camouflage, and this new pair fixes that with a sleek back and subtle RGB lighting on the side to give it just the right amount of style. The "new" advantage of this pair is 7.1 surround sound. You need to download a disk/program to get this working on your PC, but I found the software to be very lacking. When you switched modes (there were 3) they made the audio unintelligible so only one mode actually worked. So definitely room for improvement. The sound in the headphones seemed to get better as the speakers wore in a bit. It would have been nice to have more bass to make the sound fuller, but I never felt like this hindered my playing. The microphone worked very well. It's not studio quality, but it does the job and more, which works for 99.9% of users. Basically, you don't want to use this mic for podcasts, BUT YOU CAN! They're still as comfortable as the last pair of Jecoos I had, maybe even a little bigger. Oh yes, and this pair came in a pretty box, not just a plastic bag, which was nice. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. The price is very fair for the performance you get with these headphones.
