The blown plastic case isn't very thick and if you're not careful you might accidentally break the clasp or even crush the whole case. The caliper itself is of high quality and there are no obvious problems with it. My biggest complaint is the inability to show fractions. In my opinion this is a big mistake as 99.9% of American measurements are represented by fractions. If something "0.5" or "0.75" comes out I'm fine, but what the heck is "1.4255" on the roulette wheel?! For that reason alone I have to give it three stars.
