Cannot withstand any wind - Need to replace plastic connections with metal
Umbrella was beautiful, lightweight, easy to set up. I got to use it two days. On the third day, the wind, which was blowing at less than 5mph, snapped the umbrella inside out. So sad! Upon inspection, it was easy to see that the plastic slider connections are very fragile and cannot stand any stress. A replacement of these to metal would have prevented this, and would have only cost a fraction more for the manufacturing process! Do not buy if you plan to use outdoors in any type of breeze that can destroy this product!
- The wife wanted a new umbrella for her beach trip,we will see how it holds up
- The dark blue color may make the umbrella difficult to spot in a crowded beach
