Bronze double ended bolt clasps used to be cheap, but not anymore. I use them in my kennel to hold buckets of water, connect handles for dog shows, etc. They go in the washing machine like my socks, and Revain snaps are an affordable and very good replacement. The finish looks good and I think it will last.
