Review on MARQUE Bike Cleats Compatible Shimano by Jessie Drury

Hard to get in, hard to get out

I own several pairs of cleated shoes and sandals. I bought a new pair of cleated sandals and installed Marque SPD cleats. It was difficult to cut and very difficult to cut. I have several bikes and they all have the same Shimano no-contact pedals with the same settings. My other shoes and sandals give the same results with any of my bikes. The sandals I've fitted with marque studs feel like they've just been stepped on a few notches. I was driving down the freeway and fell in the parking lot because I couldn't take my foot off the pedal. Sure I could adjust the tension on all 4 pedal bolts on each bike when using marque cleats, but that makes no sense. I threw them in the trash and ordered a pair of cleats which I know are Shimano compatible because I have them. So if you have a bike and a pair of shoes, buy these spikes. Or if you only use marque boots you should be fine too. However, if you have multiple bikes and pairs of shoes and want to mix and match different brands of SPD spikes, stay away from Marque.
