The drive adapter is nothing fancy, just a piece of metal with screw holes. The metal is quite thin and had to be bent back into shape as it only deformed slightly when shipped. When that was done, everything was fine. It looks like it will work fine since the SSD doesn't weigh that much. (You just have to hold it in place just enough not to flop). A small screwdriver came in handy too.
