Almost perfect design but the model it replaces is made by Food Network. It has two metal rivets on each side near the handles. There are notches in the mesh section that fit over these pins and prevent the wire fragment from moving at all. The food web product problem occurred when I placed a frying pan on a couple of burners to make a dripping gravy out of the frying pan. It had a very good non-stick coating but the heat from the burners caused it to come off the pan which was very bad for the sauce so I had to find another product. This one was near perfect but if they changed it to have cleats like a grocery chain they would have the best product money could buy. This pan cleans very well and there is no coating to damage when making the sauce. The turkey wreck may slide a little, which is normal but can be a problem in certain conditions.
