Review on GEDORE 36mm Single Open Ended Spanner (Model: 6576700 894) by Virgilio Feliciano

I used this wrench on my 2001 Mercedes ML 320 to loosen the fan clutch from the water pump pulley using a belt wrench on the pulley. I've avoided other purpose made tools (like a rod with a hole in it to hold the pulley to the bolts and a 36mm stamped wrench to turn the fan clutch) because I've read that some people think so that these tools break instead of getting the job done. Work. I wasn't afraid that this key would break - it's stronger than my hand. However, this wrench is too thick to fit between the fan hub and the bolt heads protruding from the water pump pulley! I solved this problem by removing two of the four water pump bolts to make room for this wrench to rotate about 45 degrees without hitting the bolt heads. Then the disassembly and assembly went without problems. it looks well done. I can't tell how hard it will work before it fails, but based on the look, feel, and finish I would trust it at least as much as my Craftsman wrenches.
