The texture is perfect for elderly cats.
I adopted a 15 year old cat 2 months ago. She's in the beginning of kidney failure. She and the cat we adopted with her both absolutely love this food. They ate other canned brands slowly, leading to spoilage. There's no waste with Royal Canine. It has lots of gravy and tiny cubed chunks, just right for an elderly cat to pick up with her teeth or lick. I will stay with this brand for the rest of their lives.
- The food is formulated to support renal function, which can be a major concern for senior cats
- Not recommended for cats with immune system problems
