lanterns arrived on time. They are very big though, you put the wax on the wire and lower it down but it took forever to try to light and the wax dripped onto the ground when you tried to light it. So you have to be very careful not to get your hand in the way. Of the 10 lanterns only four of us took off and flew, the rest either caught fire or just fell to the ground. I suggest if you are buying these bring a candle lighter and not just a Bic lighter but again they are very large and a small square of wax is not enough for these lanterns to work well enough in our opinion and the instructions do as you do. There should be lighter fluid or something, but there's a little square that you attach to the cord and you press down on each end of the cord as you attach it. but we spent a good five minutes each lighting them, and not all did.
