Review on 🍳 Nordic Ware Ebleskiver Pan - For Easy Danish Cooking by Mike Wachtel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One perfect pan, a thousand perfect puffs!

Cadillac Pancake Pan. The non-stick coating is amazing. I literally wipe it off with a paper towel and you're done. The poufs are so easy to flip, they just slide down. I flip them with the tip of a fork. The pies are perfectly browned. The puffs NEVER stick. FAST, EVEN HEATING - The pan heats up quickly everywhere, not just in certain spots. Bought this pan to make pancake puffs for my son who saw the ad and begged me for 'set'. So, I thought, why not a professional, serious pancake pan? Pan aka pancake pan market and they were all around $30 and up so it was a great deal. Also, I think Nordic Ware is a good name, which is why I bought it. I bought this pan for my 7 year old son who is an aspiring chef and gave it to him as one of his first Christmas gifts along with an adjustable chef's hat. It was a delightful gift ensemble and my son and I have since enjoyed our puff pastry adventure together - I served the pan and he cracked the eggs while wearing his professional Chef Works CHAT white chef's hat. I am sooooo happy with this pan. It has made my life easier and my son's mealtime has been so much more fun because he asks for pancakes everyday and this pan does a great job making pancakes effortlessly in this pan. roasted-simply golden on the outside. I think you can even squirt them, but I didn't really feel the need, it's just that the move is damn good. For some reason they don't even need syrup. Although I tried dusting them with powdered sugar - mmmmm, divine! addicting - if I'm not careful I can turn into a pancake puff! I even found a lovely website that lists all of my favorite B&B cupcake recipes! If you are interested, you can adapt any muffin recipe/mix and make puffs out of it. Just toss a teaspoon of muffin batter in the pan and it's a puff pastry, not a muffin. You can even use your favorite cake recipe/mix. So any muffin/brownie recipe can be flaky - imagine the possibilities. Great skillet if you have super picky kids. My son is a very picky eater, but I'm happy to report that anything in the form of "puffs" seems a lot less intimidating and a lot more appealing to him. We even made poufs for puppies! He loves her! Buy this skillet, and whatever the puffs are - I'm sure you'll agree - this is the skillet to prepare them.
