Good for thin straight hair
My 6 year old daughter has thick (like many) straight hair to her waist. However, these are extremely thin, flying, narrow hair shafts. It becomes very, very confusing and very difficult to deal with and it hurts her. I have this brush for "fine" hair and it works great in combination with a detangler (and we've used all sorts of detangling and detangling brushes). I definitely recommend it.
