After buying an Apple wireless mouse + keyboard and seeing how quickly disposable alkaline batteries depleted, I decided to try rechargeable batteries and I'm glad I did. Distilling AA lye weekly became too expensive, and there was also the problem of having to buy more when they ran out. I used disposable alkaline batteries for years because I thought rechargeable ones didn't work as well and didn't last as long. I have found that rechargeable NiMH batteries work very well and in most cases are better than disposable batteries. They last almost as long as alkaline ones, with the added benefit of years of use. I read reviews that said the charger or batteries failed after a few uses, so I decided to wait about half a year before posting a review. So far the Pro Charger has been great with the included 2000mah batteries. Additional 2000mah batteries were also purchased for some remotes and they also work well. Batteries have been charged dozens of times and never had any problems with the charger or the batteries. The charging time is fast, about 4 hours with empty batteries. Batteries do not get hot, only slightly warm after charging is complete and will hold a charge for months. They are also more economical as they pay for themselves over time. (From the reviews here, the Value Charger gets a lot of negative feedback, while those who buy the Pro version are mostly happy, with the exception of a few who have broken devices. It would be better for customers if Revain put an extra one Try to separate ratings for different chargers instead of merging them all together, as this aggregates and averages ratings for different chargers rather than showing a more accurate rating for each individual charger (this applies to other items sold on Revain).
