Absolutely great for removing dirt and dust from records. Fixed many hard-to-find passes. At the moment I am working on a project to digitize about 200 datasets and it has helped me a lot. But be careful: don't accidentally leave the liquid on the record for more than a few minutes. It must be spread evenly with a microfiber cloth or record brush, otherwise residue will accumulate on the record surface. It comes out when the record is replayed or washed away. But the first time I accidentally just let the liquid dry without spreading it and then played the record, the needle dug up the residue and left it as little white dots all over the record - very frightening and disturbing to watch. They can be brushed off easily, but neither the needle nor the record can get through.
