Bought together with our new Flame Boss 300 and Y-splitter. The Flame Boss comes with 1 food probe but to ensure even cooking control you should probably use 2 probes e.g. B. a 10-12 pound bone in a pork thigh or a large breast. Everything in the probe works, but we also have a Cyber-Q Wifi setup that is very similar. The Cyber-Q pickups use heavier gauge wire, metal shell and the end of the fork feels quite heavy compared to the Flame Boss pickups. Time will tell if they will be more durable in use as I will say that the Cyber-Q sensors are quite fragile considering how "fleshy" they appear in comparison (an old, well-documented complaint ), and they are even more expensive. - 1 star for the cost of what looks and feels like a cheap probe assembly compared to the competition and I'll revisit this in a while when we can rate durability versus another.
