Although the instructions are a bit vague the installation was fairly easy, they do include a remote control button however the instructions don't even mention it other than the wires that come out of the unit with it connect, no mention of what to do with the other terminal other than the Q&A below the description (it goes to the ground). I was also disappointed that there was no trip meter, but is it possible to set a speeding warning buzzer? Crazy. Anyway, I compared it to the GPS speedometer on my phone and they were identical. Finally, finding a location for the GPS antenna was difficult as I didn't want to place it on the outside of the windshield and the vague instructions advise against mounting it on the inside of the windshield as the front of the antenna. need to "see" the sky. On a boat or motorcycle that wouldn't be a problem, but on a car I don't know how many people want that on the outside of the windshield.
