We have owned and used a few digital microscopes since 2015 and we like the quality and ease of use for young children. However, I was looking for something more user-friendly but without the need to connect it to a laptop or phone. This microscope with a screen attached has even better image quality than my old ones and gives a clearer image. The camera is extremely easy to use and much nicer and more comfortable for young shaky hands. You can move the subject without distorting the sharpness, and the brightness of the light can be easily adjusted with the control wheel. It's small and compact, making it easy to take with you on a hike if you want to take a specimen without removing it from its natural habitat.
