A few months after the purchase, problems with the motion sensor began to arise. At first, the screen would occasionally display the message "Remove your finger from the sensor zone" (even though the user's finger was not even close to the area), then, as a result, the sensor became stuck, causing the screen to go black and making it impossible to hang up the call while in the middle of a conversation. I'll repeat it again: the problem seems to be "floating," so it can be fine one time and not the next. I took it in for warranty service to the flagship location on Mayakovskaya, where the problem continued despite a full board rebuild (the sensor is soldered into the board). In accordance with the conditions of the warranty, they once again replaced the screen, and the sensor is again accessible via the new display. Each of the fixes required a few weeks to finish. The issue had seemingly been resolved, but now it has returned and becoming more regular. I bought it a year ago today, and while I still have time to return it under the warranty, I don't see the point. They've already replaced everything that was connected to the sensor, so there's not much more they can do. This is the first and probably last time I'll ever buy a Xiaomi gadget; from now on, I'll be sticking to South Korean electronics. I have already filed one warranty claim, and the issue was resolved right in front of my eyes.
