The odd shape doesn't cover the sides of your nails.

I thought this would be a quick way to do acrylic nails during the pandemic, but instead it took me an extra 2 hours! And here's why: They seem fine when you first place them on the nail to measure, with a little buffing in the cuticle area of the shape. But once you've applied acrylic (I use monomer and polymer) to the nail, it won't cover the edges of the nail bed. I've tried increasing the size of the next nail but the problem is the cuticle is wide and then narrows with a higher arcuate C curve than I expected. This causes the nail to become thick in the middle and then sharply thin on the sides, resulting in the nail being left uncovered on both sides. They are difficult to file because the material is softer (so easy to work with). remove once the acrylic has cured). Although I managed to archive a few, it didn't really matter. ALL the nails were ruined; No side cover! The ones I pressed while trying to cover the sides simply pushed the acrylic out and made a solid look in the hardened acrylic. It took over 2 hours. Just fixed 5 nails after using these shapes. On the other hand I didn't use it and went freestyle as usual which took a lot less time and ended up looking good - as always. To sum it up: wide cuticles, narrow on the sides, high C-curve = mess to fix. I'm sending them back today!
