I have tried this product 2 out of 3 ways. I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado and the air vent holder doesn't work well with the switch. He has no place to go there and use the shifter; However, it seems to stick very well to the vent and my iPhone XR (in a Marine Pelican case, so it's big and heavy). I've used a windshield suction cup and it sticks/holds very well, but for me it's just bulky and I'm used to having my windshield blank. I actually attached it to my wooden headboard by my bed so I can FaceTime with my friends. Haven't tried pinning it to my dashboard yet, will update if I try.
