Review on ZEVA by Patrick Nepal

I like that it is easy to use, has many options available, can be used in conjunction with other programs such as Riskwarez or SafeNet's RMS, allows you to keep track of your assessment results, and provides detailed reports about each risk identified and assessed. It would have been nice if there were more customization features (i.e., ability to customize what fields are displayed) but this was not an issue when using the free version. This program works well for small companies who need a quick way to assess their IT environments and identify risks. We use EVA to perform our annual security audits and provide recommendations to help ensure we stay compliant across all areas of our operations.
