Not worth the headache.
The phone app requires many permissions and allows you to share information online. The lights are bright, but only some of them have real color. Drains battery if left on overnight. My old RGB lights that I left on every night for 4 years never drained my batteries. In my opinion these lights are not worth the cost or hassle of a phone app.
