Review on 🔊 Focal PS165 V1 6.5-Inch Component Speakers - Expert Series by Ben Walls

My first impression of the Focal PS165 component speakers is how wide the stereo sweet spot is. I felt I didn't have to think much about setting up these speakers to get great sound. I simply adapted them to the factory locations. But the sound was absolutely pure and clear. I finally hear the reverberation of the guitar strings and the clear separation of the stereo sound in the music. These speakers are perfect for any piece of music, no matter what type of music I'm playing. Unfortunately, I can only compare them with factory speakers, but day and night sound is better audible over Focal. My speakers are powered by a Rockford Fosgate Prime 600 which is underrated at 100 watts per channel and may require a little more power than these speakers. I don't often listen at maximum volume, but even then I don't hear any problems. I made sure the gains were set to unlimited with the SMD DD1+.
