After reading the reviews I decided to play it safe and bought a large size for my 5 lb chihuahua which turned out to be MASSIVE. The large size is more suitable for a dog that weighs at least 10 pounds and has longer legs because the sleeves were longer than their legs. I liked the sweater but bought a small one instead. It's still pretty baggy but wearable. I probably should have gotten an extra small one because the sleeves are still quite long and she'll trip if I don't roll them up. The rest of the sweater is soft and warm.
