This product is great but you need to know what to expect. I have thick wavy hair with tighter curls at the roots and bottom of the hair. My hair is thick and voluminous, but due to the coarseness, it can get frizzy and dull. I tried it on a whim and was so glad I did, I cut my "prep time" a lot. Keep the room well ventilated. This means opening the windows, turning on the fan, turning on the ventilation, etc. You will fail and possibly injure yourself if you are not prepared. Worrying about burning eyes will distract you from following the instructions and getting a good result. I followed each step EXACTLY as directed and used a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. The smooth look lasted about two and a half weeks (4-5 washes). A month later my hair is still air dry, straight and wavy, a great result but not straight. I will be repeating the same process soon (within the next 2-3 weeks) as I have never had a keratin treatment and have been told the effects are cumulative. I will buy the same product again and recommend it. My hair is very thick, reaching about 1-2 inches below my shoulders. I got by on one bottle (remember, follow the directions, don't gorge).
