They are about half a size smaller than normal crocodiles. I'm hesitant to switch to the next size up as I'm concerned they'll be too big. I recently had to return a pair of these to an official store and the lady who works there said it was because the ones with the strap are thinner. Not true. They are not the same length. See photos. I have Drew Barrymore shoes, they have a strap and they fit, and I have regular crocs. Both are the same size. So if your current crocs fit your feet without a lot of extra room, I would order a size up. Just wanted to add that when I was packing it up for return I noticed that one was shorter than the other. I think that explains why the left leg kicked and the right was almost perfect.
