Love these towels. I'm a snob about sheets and towels, thick cotton terry tea towels leave lint and take forever to dry so they can smell of mildew. Thin cotton towels, such as a flour sack, also leave a lint-like residue and, when printed, can often be stiff and not absorb moisture for a period of time. Also, they just don't deliver any tactile pleasure for me. This might seem like a silly fondness for kitchen towels, but I'm sure there are other people who feel the same way. 100% linen fabric, good thickness (not so much) and a nice little black and white pattern make them more than attractive. a step above your ordinary kitchen towels, nice enough for a rustic, everyday look if you don't want the overpriced. They are small so be aware. Oh yes, I've become addicted to hanging loops and never want to buy towels that don't have them again! I've just ordered two more pairs.
