Review on Optical Toslink Bi Directional Converter Splitter by Justin Herman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to set up and use. came quickly Cheapest at Revain, but others include more cables.

Wish they were in black. Only the USB charging cable is included in the scope of delivery. The small black switch is used to select your input (digital coaxial or optical). This little box is sold by many different vendors and under different names. It comes in black and white. I wanted black but this seller only has it in white but promised fastest delivery and I received it earlier than promised. Other providers also offer coaxial cable and optical cable, but charge more. I have a few cables so I don't need more. Optical audio cables used to be very expensive, but now they are cheap. If you need an optical cable, you can find a retailer that includes one as the price can be cheaper than buying it separately. Wall. Most TVs have a USB output that can be used to power the device. If you don't have a free USB socket somewhere, you'll need a USB socket, possibly from one of your old iPhones. It also has a standard power input connector for connecting a standard (non-USB) 5V power adapter. I was surprised by the tiny box that fits easily in a padded envelope. I had a Blu-ray player with only coaxial output and a desktop speaker with optical output. The desktop speaker had a USB port to power the device. I had it up and running in less than 2 minutes.

Pros
  • Plug and Play
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
