Sounded good - not great but good. MUCH better than the flat sound that comes from a TV. If you already have a decent speaker system with a subwoofer, it might not sound as good. Think of it more like a center channel speaker in a surround sound system. Bass is decent too - if you're used to a subwoofer you'll feel a little disappointed. The bass control is good, actually all controls are good. Make sure your digital output on your TV is set to DTS/Dolby, it makes a big difference. Also note the "Dialogue" sound mode button on the remote control. I don't like the sound in this mode, regardless of the type of sound. Soundbar, cable TV box, DVD/Blu-Ray player. The wall mount works well and is hard to screw up. The soundbar is easy to remove.
