New as of May 2022 (for the next five years!) - I bought the hair dryer as a present for my mom, and it works just as well for me as it did when I first got it. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After much deliberation, I settled on this exact model (mine is purple). I was totally off! Strong air jet dries hair swiftly and effectively. For the sole purpose of setting your hairstyle, cold air is truly frigid. The hair dryer has a sleek exterior and is easy to handle and operate thanks to a soft rubber grip and well-placed buttons. The same goes for my mom, and I won't even look at alternatives. Although expensive, this hair dryer is well worth the cost.
