Disappointing Wii best

Dock seems cheap. It will not properly hold the controller to ensure a proper charge. Once you find a way to balance the controller on the docking connector, the red light will turn on but never turn off. Does this mean the battery is charging, bad or what? Waste of money but at least I learned where not to buy.
