I tried all sorts of paper mache recipes and techniques while making some paper mache lanterns for Halloween. I found this product to work the best. You can follow the directions on the back, but I mixed just enough water to get the consistency I wanted. If you have an immersion blender that you don't use for anything else, it's a great tool for breaking up clumps. Another tip: let it dry slowly - don't put it in the heat or it will tear. It sands very well - I even took a rasp and drywall screens and all was fine.
