I bought this for my medium sized daughter (size 6/8). The fit was great with little room to grow. She really likes the look and that she only needs sunscreen on her face with this costume. It also has the added bonus of not chafing the life jacket while skiing or tubing. I highly recommend this costume. He's already worked 6 or 7 times - in bleach and seawater. It has been hand and machine washed but only air dried. So far he's holding up great. *****
