I only bought this for my 2011 BMW 128i Convertible after ordering the factory replacement antenna. I love the fact that the 6 3/4" antenna looks sportier than the stock antenna, so I bought it for almost half the price of the stock BMW antenna. Other reviews indicated that there was a gap when reseating it because the bolt was too long. In my case this is the case and I would like the screw to be a little shorter so there is no gap exposing the threads. I made a workaround by cutting a piece of rubber off the old antenna and filled the gap with it. While not perfect, it worked pretty well. So I'm keeping this antenna instead of the longer stock BMW antenna.
