Honestly I don't know what I think of this material. Well, let me correct that, I'm not sure what I think of Transylvania. I used Venom and although it washed out quickly, had to be reapplied constantly and wasn't my favorite color, it faded to a beautiful pink which I was over the moon with. I finally figured out how to dilute it perfectly so I can skip the unflattering bright red and stick with the sweet pink I prefer. I've also had a lot of experience with purple (can't remember exactly what it was called) but it came out a dark vibrant purple and went through many beautiful shades of purple before turning into a gorgeous lavender in which there was a stayed for a while. Purple has been my favorite of all the colors I've tried so far. I am currently using Transylvania. I craved my naturally dark hair but didn't want a permanent color that I had to bleach again when I got tired of it, as I quickly did. I found that unlike other colors it doesn't fade as quickly or completely which should be exciting but actually disappointing which is why I picked it up from the start. I just wanted to go back to my dark hair, not live with it forever. I'm worried that I'll have to bleach it again to get everything I wanted to avoid to begin with. As for the color itself - ah. It's been through some nice phases but seems to be turning into this smoky bluish/purple/green thing I'm not sure how I feel about. My son described it as "mystical" so it's not that bad. I found that none of the colors actually held up in my gray hair. They stubbornly refuse to obey. I'm in a life situation where I don't have many, but the ones I have are at the front of the hairline and temples, and all colors stain them for a day or two, but no longer. . However, Transylvania has given them a strange greenish color that they seem to be sticking to. The first photo is "Poison" in the morning after application. 2nd photo purple in a week. 3rd photo - Transylvania in about 4 weeks. 4th photo - Transylvania in the morning after application. 5th photo "Gift" in about 2 weeks. 6th photo "Poison" at about 5 weeks, my darling <3, very light pastel pink cotton candy. The last photo is now Transylvania, about 5 weeks later, if you look closely, you can see that it is greenish at my roots and does not cover my gray hair.
