I’ve worn silk long underwear for a long time, and have gone through a couple pair over the years. This is a well known brand, but I’ve found that the ones with the little pointelle/chevron pattern in the fabric don’t have as much stretch and that leads to a shorter life span. These things are THIN! You want to order them large enough so they are not pulling when you bend your knees or they will split and run like stockings.I weigh 128 pounds and bought the medium, and even though they looked right at first, I found them to be a little too snug when bending my knees, so I returned them. For the price they are just a little too thin and fragile feeling.Wool long underwear are great for being outside in cold weather, but I love silk long underwear because you can wear them under pants indoors without getting too hot. I’ll continue to look for some that are slightly heavier.
