I've always wanted a pasta maker for Kitchenaid and finally got one after not being able to roll pasta thin enough by hand with a rolling pin. . The attachment is strong and well made, and I love that I don't have to switch attachments to roll and slice (although sometimes the end of my pasta hit the roller at the same time as I was cutting - learning curve). to make sure the dough wasn't too wet and floured, but once I did I was on the roll. The whole family agreed! I used 00 flour and rolled it out to 6 for spaghetti. He was done in 90 seconds.
