broke the first day of use

I am a very small person, I don't have enough upper body strength, so I was shocked and disappointed when this tool broke. I've never broken a double. The metal split right where the handle begins. It has worked great up to this point, was very sharp and moved footage well! Luckily I got my money back due to the quality assurance of the product. I bought a large beaver notch to replace as I am having trouble finding a curved notch like those found elsewhere. hope it is stronger The other reviews are very good, so I'm a bit disappointed, I hope it's good luck if there's a draw, sometimes it's just bad luck. I might have better luck with her bigger notch. However, your spoon knife has worked wonders for me!
