I have purchased over 2000 blank SmartBuy DVD-Rs and up to the last two batches the success rate has been almost 100%. Good discs at a reasonable price. However, in the last 2 months I have bought 2 sets of 600 discs and at least 20 discs out of 100 had obvious defects that made the recording side look like they were being dragged over rocks (see attached picture). I contacted the seller (smartbuy-depot) and they offered a refund of the cost of 100 packs. I found this acceptable but a week later no refund was given and I was told it was not their problem; They were just the seller and issued a refund so the delay must be Revain. Of course, any automated attempt to contact Revain sends me back to the seller, so I'm stuck in a loop. I will just buy another brand in the future.
