sweet trip! But installation is a different story. Make sure you have a few tools at home (as indicated in the installation guide), e.g. a hammer, wrench, screwdriver, pliers, and a block of wood (we used the smooth side of the meat tenderizer instead, lol). We laid out all the pieces on the table like the picture in the instructions and that made finding the pieces much easier. Also, the gizmo that held the end cap in place while you pounded it into the wheels was white instead of the black found on manual and older models. For some reason this part didn't hold the end cap firmly in place and kept slipping out while riding. So we put double sided tape in the cavity of the aforementioned white plastic thing and stuck an end cap in, which made working with a hammer a lot easier. If one of the end caps was plugged crookedly, a couple of hits with a hammer directly on it fixed it (I was afraid the plastic cap would crack, but luckily that didn't happen). Here's the awkward part that makes my husband and I laugh and cry at the same time: Make sure this car gets 100% of your attention when building it! We have a 16 month old toddler and in an attempt to keep him away from the tools and climbing the Dada (insert little tantrums here and there) we hammered the end disc onto the axle WITHOUT the wheel! Can you believe it! (We still can't. lol). Cleaning up the mess we made was hard work! We had to cut open the plastic cover and use a thin screwdriver to pry the piece of metal out of the axle. You might think we'll be fine after this, but no! We did it AGAIN, but this time with a wheel, but without a washer (it fell off while fumbling with the jig). We had to destroy another end plate. Luckily they give you two extra pieces so that was enough for us. In short, make sure you have all the washers and parts before you ram the wheels. And check again if something has fallen off. Because once the end caps that hold the wheels are knocked in, they are very difficult to remove! Nice trip.
