Very white light and sufficient intensity. Not very bright but close to the original lamp. You should also keep in mind that LEDs run much cooler than regular incandescent bulbs, so heat won't discolor plastic fixtures over time. A small problem with the assembly: the outer ring on the lamp base is too big. to get through some of the holes in the bulb holder, but you can easily remove the bulb from the base, trim some material from the outer ring of the base with a file or gently touch it with a grinding wheel, and then reinsert the bulb into the base. It takes less than 5 minutes and doesn't take away from my overall score as it doesn't suit every application.
