Review on OWC PC3 12800 1600MHz SO DIMM OWC1600DDR3S16P by Runbi Alvarez

I upgraded this late 2011 8.1 13" MacBook Pro i5 2.4GHz with an SSD last year and noticed a huge improvement. But now, with the world as it is i need to use my laptop more than ever and it was a problem with the original 4gb ram i ran out of the 16gb but accidentally ordered 1600mhz instead of the 1333mhz, my system requires. OWC says what I ordered is compatible with my machine and it definitely recognizes this in the spec review. The system works like a dream. Super easy to install for that layman and I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Should have done this sooner! I hope this MBP is many years old - love my outdated ports!
