Review on Aqua Pure AP430SS Water System Protector: Optimal Defense for Your Water System by Stephen Pendergrass

I suspect this product I bought for my Demand Controlled Hot Water system will work. We don't have that much calcium in our water, but who cares. Replace twice a year and at a reasonable price like an elephant repeller in my backyard. No elephants so I think it was a good buy. What I definitely DO NOT like about this product is (a) the inclusion of a metal tee with every replacement, such a waste of good steel since that tee was installed with my system, and (b) 3M don't don't do that do not offer a means of reusing a used cartridge. I have to assume that the cartridge contains a chelating agent that can be fairly easily and almost infinitely recharged.
