dosing pump? the best soaps and detergents

Does the dosing pump have to be so short? Soap pumping is fine now but I'm sure the problems will start after about 5 pumps. The smell is strong and I don't really smell the "rose". I like the limited ingredients. I've only used it once, my kids love it.
