I have a women's size 6.5 and I ordered a child's size 5 because there were no half sizes and I decided it's better to be safe than sorry. After putting them on I found I could probably do 4, but with thick socks it's not that much of a problem! Also, they're everything I dreamed of as a kid and now they're mine because I'm grown up and I can do whatever I want. I can also confirm that I've ridden them with no problems, ymmv
