The other day I finally got a chance to try this little grinder on a woodworking project. It's coupled to a 100 psi oil compressor. At 100 psi this grinder develops enough torque to handle a cutting wheel fairly easily to cut through softer wood, although it breaks off when the pressure drops to 50-60 - no surprise! " or larger, although a little harder to find consumables (4.5" is more common). It's not very noisy for an air tool - typical I would say Build quality wise it feels solid not leak and performs well so it's a win in my book Disclaimer - I'm definitely an amateur woodworker though I have worked with high end wood and metal finishing shops and am not an expert on air tools it definitely works well enough f For my needs, like home metal and wood projects.
