Review on Taste of the Wild: Premium High Protein Cat Food with Real Meat, Probiotics, and Superfoods for Adult Cats and Kittens by Russell Galbreath

My cat loves this food every day. He also insists on getting some fish every day, like half a sardine or a piece of salmon. But no matter how much fish he's served, he's not willing to put up with an empty plate where his slice of Taste of the Wild should be. For my most recent Taste of the Wild purchase I chose the smallest bag (only £3?) - and will continue to do so in the future. I used to buy big bags at a much lower price per pound. Good. I don't have space in the freezer to store cat food, so it's kept at room temperature. Unfortunately I suspect my cat is not eating it fast enough for the pellets to lose their fresh scent. My nose says the smell is going away. My cat doesn't really care. I am currently serving a scoop of 5 month old croquettes alongside a scoop of fresh little pouches. The cat likes her right away, she eats everything. I know he's aware of a difference between the two because I can see him sniffing appraisingly at each little pile. It's worth mentioning here that the new Taste of the Wild brittle is slightly smaller and slightly darker than the previous pack. Also in spherical form. I believe that such changes can cause problems for a very demanding cat. I wonder why they changed size and color at the same time? This is not a problem for my cat, but if your cat is picky you can arrange a very gradual transition from the old stock to the new. I say this for Taste of the Wild: The family I adopted my beautiful cat from discovered that their own cat had mysteriously overcome chronic kidney disease when they switched her to Taste of the Wild food. They might have saved many thousands of dollars in vet bills if only they switched sooner, and their kitten might have been spared a lot of suffering. Of course, we'll never know, but this family is a huge Taste of the Wild fan!
